Modern Colonial

Reworking the entire first floor of this home gave this busy family increased functionality, more storage space, and better flow for entertaining family and friends. Many of the design details such as the rich, historic color palette and the millwork profiles were inspired by the home’s American Colonial architecture. To keep things fresh, we incorporated a number of modern details as well. The result is both modern and classic all in one, a recipe for enduring style.

Bellaire Eclectic

The homeowners’ request was to have their newly acquired, French-style home feel as though many generations had passed through its doors. Each room has a distinct personality but harmonizes with adjacent rooms through the use of color, pattern, and material. The result is a collected, eclectic mix of periods, styles, and moods perfect for family living and entertaining.

Candlelight Plaza Contemporary

After a fresh remodel, this home was a blank slate and I was called to add in color and personality with a focus on durability. A mix of performance materials paired with custom details, ensures this home is as functional as it is beautiful. A classic floral chintz established the color palette and served as the perfect foil to the modern and contemporary pieces found throughout the home.

Garden Oaks

The great natural light and thoughtful usage of natural materials lends an almost spa-like quality to this home. Adding depth and texture through the use of fabrics, finishes, and art creates interest while preserving the mood.

Whimsical Greek Revival

This Greek Revival renovation included plenty of color and whimsy. Bolder design moments are balanced with quieter ones to create a range of moods and experiences throughout the home. Traditional furniture and accessories speak to the home’s architecture, while playful color and patterns appeal to the fun-loving family who live here.

Contemporary Tudor

From the bathroom remodel, to the kitchen refresh the goal here was to lighten and brighten this busy family home. Durable materials paired with a soothing color palette make for an elegant home that will stand the test of time.
